Short course : Radio broadcasting

  • 3 Months (Part Time)
  • Students attend 2 x 3 hour sessions per week (or minimum 1 x 3 hour session) providing a part-time schedule.

Learners will undergo internal assessment, which includes both formative and summative assignments, tests, and projects. Upon successful completion of the summative assessment, participants will become eligible for certification in the short course.

Radio Host: Engage listeners with your unique personality and present a variety of shows, interviews, and discussions on air.

Radio Producer: Craft compelling content, manage show logistics, and ensure smooth broadcasts by overseeing technical aspects.

Podcast Creator: Develop and produce your own podcasts on a range of topics, building a dedicated audience online.

Radio Journalist: Report news, conduct interviews, and cover events as a voice that keeps listeners informed and engaged.

Voiceover Artist: Lend your voice to commercials, narrations, audio books, and more, showcasing your expressive vocal talent.

To enroll, simply apply online. There is no application fee required. However, upon acceptance, you will need to make a deposit payment or adhere to your designated payment plan.

Absolutely! Our course places a strong emphasis on practical learning. You’ll have ample opportunities to work with actual audio equipment, set up Radio sound systems, and practice sound mixing during simulated radio broadcasting events..

A high school matriculation certificate is not prerequisite for enrolling in this course. If you do not possess a Matric certificate and have a minimum of grade 10, you can register for this short course.
